The Airlight PLUS is positioned as one of the more powerful air-driven handpieces on the market, delivering up to 28 watts of torque and rated to handle air pressure up to 60 PSI. Its built-in micro-generator produces its own electricity to power an LED light, eliminating the need for a fiber-optic connection back to the delivery unit; that Direct-LED is positioned for a larger light pattern than a standard fiber-optic setup, running at 5,500K color temperature and 25,500 LUX brightness. A triple water spray cools the full bur surface, the titanium body has a micro-textured, scratch-resistant surface to reduce slippage, and ceramic ball bearings give smooth, quiet operation.
