The Flight 45° Surgical Handpiece, available from All Practice Solutions, is part of Flight's Bold Series and built specifically for third molar procedures, with a 45° head angle designed to give better access than a standard high-speed handpiece. It runs a built-in generator that powers its own LED light (25,000 Lux, 5,500K color temperature, rated for 5,000+ hours) without needing fiber optics or an external electrical connection, and it directs air exhaust out the rear rather than toward the surgical site to help guard against air embolism. Free load speed exceeds 350,000 RPM, with the internal generator spinning at 18,000-22,000 RPM, and grip strength on the push-button (or wrench) chuck runs 24-45N holding friction-grip burs to EN ISO 1797-1:1995 standards. It uses a 4-hole Midwest connection, a single spray port angled at 30mm, and ceramic bearings with an anti-slip grip for handling.
