PMP 10:1 PROPHY
The Bien-Air PM 10:1 Prophy Straight, available from All Practice Solutions, is a straight handpiece (ref. 1600289-001) built for dental prophylaxis, running a 10:1 gear ratio up to 4,000 RPM, enough speed for efficient polishing without being aggressive on tooth surfaces. It uses a Doriot-type connection sized for standard disposable prophy heads, so it drops into existing prophy angle inventory, and it's compatible with E-type motors from multiple manufacturers as well as Bien-Air's own Classic and Micro-Series motors.

Handpieces with interchangeable heads and contra-angles with detachable cups are the only instruments that can be fitted to motors rotating at 40,000 rpm.
