he Woodpecker AiRay Lite Handheld X-Ray with Scatter Shield is a portable intraoral X-ray unit built around a Japanese Canon high-frequency X-ray tube (model D-045) with a 0.4 mm focal spot and 12.5° target angle, delivering up to 140 W of emission power for diagnostic-quality intraoral imaging at chairside or across multiple operatories without a fixed wall-mounted unit. Total filtration is rated at 1.5 mm Al/70 kV, with 0.5 mm Al/70 kV of additional filtration, and the unit includes an integrated scatter shield positioned to help protect the operator during exposure. It runs on a 7500mAh lithium-ion battery for extended use between charges, with an internal 10.8V DC supply and standard 100-240V, 50/60Hz power input for charging.
